Subscription policy

You can obtain a free subscription to the Credithire Barrister blog by entering your email address in the box on the right hand side of this page. You can then unsubscribe at any time. You will receive email updates each time this blog is updated.

In addition, I link this blog to social media: in particular LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter. My intention is that this blog and its updates will appear on those services. In addition, this blog has been formatted so that it should appear on your mobile phone in a different but more accessible form.

No website created by a lawyer would be complete without some terms or conditions or “legal stuff” which govern the relationship between us: me the writer, and you the reader.

Privacy policy

Inevitably using this blog will involve the processing of personal data and my intention is that this should take place in the context of this privacy policy.

I will ensure that this privacy policy is correct, and have written it to make you, the data subject aware of the contents of this policy, when I collect and use your personal data, which for the most part is your email address, given to me, when you subscribe to this blog.

I am the data processor for personal data and also the data protection representative to whom you you should address any queries.

I write and manage this blog and have access to any data submitted to this blog. I use your data to approve comments, monitor spam and manage the email subscription process. I do use some third parties as set out below.

WordPress. This site is a WordPress site so any information supplied by you will be stored by WordPress.

TSOHost. This site is hosted by TSOHost so any information supplied by you will be stored by TSOHost.

At any point you can unsubscribe from your subscription. An option to unsubscribe is included in every email. Once unsubscribed, I no longer have access to your data. You have the “right to be forgotten” and can simply email me to ensure that all your data is deleted.

I reserve the right to unsubscribe or delete your personal data, as I see fit.

Comments policy

I welcome comments on this website. However I will simply delete comments, which I judge to be inappropriate.

By this I mean, defamatory, abusive, irrelevant, or otherwise objectionable comments.
